In 2005 Robbie Jansen van Rensburg started working for his father Rory Jansen van Rensburg, director of RVR Loodgieters, which started in the plumbing industry in 1979, Rory has over 35 years of experience in plumbing, in both the old fashioned way and also in the more modern and specialised ways. As Robbie had learnt from the best, he qualified as a plumber in 2009, in both civil and commercial plumbing to day-to-day plumbing maintenance.
Robbie started RVR Plumbing Projects in 2009, gaining a foothold in the industry and growing into what is known today as MERID Plumbing. He commemorates his five children with the name MERID representing his children’s names:
